Why do you use MCT as your base or carrier oil?
Cannabinoids like CBD, CBG, CBN, and CBC are fat-soluble, meaning they break down and are stored in fat rather than water. Therefore cannabinoids are most effective when consumed with fat because it increases the rate of absorption. Onyx + Rose selected MCT (medium-chain triglycerides) oil. With MCT oil having higher fat content than other oils, it gives the cannabinoids the traction they need to move through the body and interact with the endocannabinoid system faster.
Do you have vape oil?
We do not currently offer vape oil.
How should I store my Onyx + Rose products?
CBD oil products should always be stored properly to help maintain their freshness and improve their shelf life. An opened CBD oil product will typically maintain its effectiveness for about 6 months. To store your Onyx + Rose CBD oil properly, we advise storing them in a dark cool place.
Can you take too much CBD oil? Are there any side effects to taking CBD oil?
Effective serving sizes will vary from person to person. It is important to stick to the guidelines outlined by Onyx + Rose. CBD has no known severe side effects, but mild side effects could include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dry mouth, and diarrhea. If you experience any side effects, we advise decreasing the amount of CBD you’re taking in a single serving. If you experience ongoing side effects, please discontinue use and consult your physician.
What is a microemulsion?
Put simply, Microemulsions make it easier for your body to metabolize ingested substances. Oil-in-water microemulsion is expected to increase the solubility by dissolving compounds with low water solubility into an oil phase. They can also enhance oral bioavailability by reducing the droplet size (< 100 nm), and hence increase the rate of absorption due to surfactant-induced permeability changes.
Can I take Onyx + Rose CBD products with my medications?
We recommend speaking with your physician before taking CBD with your medications.
What is the oil amount delivered in one dropper?
A full dropper of 1000 mg oil will pull approximately 17.5mg of CBD. A full dropper of 2000 mg oil will pull approximately 35mg of CBD.
How many servings does my bottle of CBD oil contain?
Each 2oz bottle contains sixty 1mL servings
How long does shipping take?
USPS First Class packages and Priority Mail packages are both delivered between 3-5 business days, but USPS does not guarantee these times.
